A BUDDING designer from Barlby High School has been named the winner of the Evening Press Ad Attack competition.
Natalie Faulkes' advertisement design for American Golf won her a television, along with a bag of prizes.
Head of art at Barlby High School, Martin Walker, said: "We were very pleased that she won. When I saw some of the designs I thought there were some very good ones.
"I think Natalie's won because it was quite a simple advert and it served a purpose." Six schools were involved in the competition to design advertisements for local businesses which were published in the Evening Press.
The second prize of a mobile phone went to Stephanie Solomon from Easingwold School and the third prize of a CD players went to Jo Whiting from Canon Lee School.
