ALL 'L' broke loose for hosts Strensall to take maximum points over Amotherby and capture second spot in the Leeper Hare York and District League third division.
Strensall's Nigel Lyle and Lee Lyons put the homesters 2-0 up at half-time. Soon after the re-start Lyle struck again. Strensall then spurned a great chance to wrap things up when they missed a penalty.
That fired up Amotherby, who countered with goals from Matty Biggins and a Simon Wall penalty, but Strensall held out.
Tockwith's Graham Hutchison hit four goals at Norton with Ben Raybould adding another in their 5-0 win.
Improving York RI came away from LNER Builders with a 4-1 win thanks to strikes from Neil Hinde (2), Luke Richardson and Carl Welch. Jim Clayton replied.

South Bank were leading 1-0 at half-time at Osbaldwick, courtesy of a Dave Kettlewell 30-yarder, but one of their players was called away to a family emergency during the break and, with no substitutes, they had to play the second half with ten men.
The home side took full advantage as Jon O'Neil (2), Barry Popley and Adam Fella scored. Although Kettlewell hit another the points went to the hosts.
New Earswick remain top of Reserve 'B' despite losing their first game of the season in the derby at Huntington.
Paul Harrison claimed the first goal for Earswick only for Chris Dower to level. John Conroy put Earswick back in front before Huntington equalised again through Mark Ellis, who then hit the winner five minutes from time.
Copmanthorpe were held 2-2 by Haxby. Mark Scoreby struck both the Haxby goals but then conceded an own goal which set up Paul Scurry to hit a late equaliser.
Poppleton managed their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw with Easingwold for whom Paul Simpson scored.
Civil Service recorded their first Reserve 'C' win of the season as goals from Ross Dickinson, Neil Edwards and Martin Lund sealed victory over goal-less Wilberfoss.
Hamilton Panthers were top scorers after mauling Moor Lane 15-0 with Brad Dunn hitting four.
In Reserve 'D', Huby managed their first win in four outings as goals from Chris Phillips and Craig Dodsworth gave them a 3-1 win at Norwich Union for whom Mike Richardson was on target.
