CRYSTAL Palace 'A' moved into second place of the John Smiths Sunday Pool League after a fine 8-0 victory at Fox & Hounds aided by two wins from G Kelly and M Lyons.
Fossway 'A' overcame Dick Turpin 6-2 with captain Ian Jones winning both his frames. Tang Hall drew yet again, this time against Clifton 'A,' with Steven Hudson completing a seven-ball game for Tang Hall.
The improving Health Club, with Gail Mulderigg and S Mortimer winning twice, beat Crystal Palace 'B' 6-2.
Burton Stone maintained their position at the top after a 6-2 win against Yearsley which included a double from M Hartis.
With the scores level at 3-3, Paul Mizon and Pete Townsend took the last two frames for Pack of Cards to beat Brigadier.
After being four up, Dringhouses let Mitre claim three frames, Neil Long winning two of them.
Clifton 'B' scored their second successive 7-1 victory, this time against Fossway B.
