HOW dare Colin Jeffrey (Evening Press, Friday, November 7) say that no one would notice if York City went out of existence.
City were the first club to reach over 100 points in a season. When was the last time Leeds United (Mr Jeffrey's team) scored three at Old Trafford?
The 6-1 humiliation Leeds suffered at Portsmouth is just the start. Relegation, administration and a slippery slope beckons.
Remember Manchester City, Fulham at lower league status and even today's members, Oldham and Swansea. Need I say more? It can happen.
York City's loyal supporters will see Leeds in Division Two soon.

Alvin Walk,
