THORPE United cemented top spot in Division One of the York Mitchell Sports Football League with a 3-0 win at Panthers 'A'.

Copmanthorpe move up a place to third after beating Haxby Town 'A' 3-2 with goals from Antony Chilton, Josh Ferguson and Ben Johnson, Michael Byram replying twice for Haxby.

Tadcaster sank Brooklyn 6-1 with goals from Stanley Wilson (2), Robert Ward, Ben Bowden, Olly Box and James Rawlings. Kingsley Daffern netted Brooklyn's consolation effort.

Bottom club Selby Olympia 'A' found Rowntrees too strong and went down 4-0 to goals from Mark Dobson, Josh Piercy, Billy Pearson and Jake Cartlidge.

Real Cliffe's thumping 9-3 win over New Earswick took them to the top of Division Two. Tom Dunning scored a hat-trick, Michael Brown and Tom Grundy netted two each with Craig Allen and Dominic Smith completing the scoring. Sean Precious (2) and Daniel Perkins replied for New Earswick.

Heworth went down 2-1 to Wigginton, whose Kyle Waite scored twice. Declan Malarkey was on target for Heworth.

Calum Watson's lone goal gave York RI victory at Rawcliffe and goals from Chris Lawler, Jordan Wilkinson and James Scott earned Barlby Raiders a 3-1 win against North Duffield, whose scorer was Ryan Sedman.

In division three, Pocklington Town and Wheldrake shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Dan Whittaker scored for Wheldrake, Oliver Burt replied for Pocklington.

Two goals by Sam Hawkins earned Ulleskelf a 2-1 win at Pickering Town.

A late second-half goal gave South Milford a 3-2 win over Hamilton Panthers 'B'. Thomas Lancashire, Nick Spencer and Chris Young were on target for South Milford and Ryan Ellerby and Tom Johnson responded for Panthers.

Man of the match Gary Chapman scored twice as Selby Olympia 'B' won 4-2 at bottom club Huntington. Daniel Hegarty also found the net twice for Olympia while Huntington's goals came from Karl Richardson and Andrew Allenby.
