ROSS Moynihan, the York Sunday Afternoon League's leading scorer, added another four goals to his tally as Clifton FC beat Woodthorpe Warriors 6-3 in Division One.
Other goals came from Dale Phillips and Darren Heels as leaders Clifton finally got the better of a spirited young Woodthorpe side.
Saville AV maintained their title challenge by beating Heworth 4-2 while St John's College and Rawcliffe split the points in a 2-2 draw.
CB United came from 2-0 down - despite missing two penalties - to beat Bay Horse United 4-3 in Division Two for their second win of the season.
Paul Graves and Mark Pickard put Bay Horse in command and they were let off the hook as CB missed two penalties.
But is was third time lucky as CB were awarded a third spot-kick and this time Polish striker Stefan Dziurzynski converted. Mike Van Den Heever made it 2-2 with a simple tap in.
When Bay Horse regained the lead with ten minutes remaining it looked all over, but CB kept plugging away and Danny Hendy's header equalised and there was just time left for top scorer Rich Mills to chip in the winner.
Jordan Hornby scored twice as Yearsley beat Knavesmire 4-2 in an excellent match.
Daz Cox and Stevie Myers, who defied a hand injury to play, were Yearsley's other scorers.
Bottom club Wigginton went down 5-3 to promotion challengers Cottage Inn and leaders Gimcrack thumped Cedarwood 6-1.
