HARROGATE Town missed out on the chance to go top of the UniBond League Premier Division last night when they lost 1-0 at Worksop Town.
Town's manager John Reed had labelled the match as the "biggest" in his three years in charge and Town looked set to collect at least a point when the score was at 0-0 with stoppage time looming.
However, in the 90th minute Worksop substitute Mark Ward grabbed the winner for the home team to complete a double over Harrogate this season.
Former York City striker Glenn Naylor went closest to scoring for Town, who, despite the defeat remain in third place in the table.
