DRINGHOUSES are the only unbeaten side in the Leeper Hare York and District Football League premier division.

Bishopthorpe managed a draw at Wigginton Black Horse with some resolute defending despite conceding a goal in the first minute when Anthony Luck fired past Ian McPherson.

Black Horse then conceded an own goal before their 'keeper, Darren Winters, gifted Bishops a goal when he kicked a through ball only as far as Ben Sykes, who slotted the ball into the empty net from 40 yards out.

It was all Black Horse after the break and Andy Price headed the equaliser from a corner on the hour mark but try as they might they could not find a winner with McPherson pulling of three saves to frustrate the home attack.
