Pickering Town maintained their unbeaten home record and kept up their title tilt in the Northern Counties East League premier division with a 1-0 win over Mickleover Sports
Former York City striker Scott Emmerson scored after an hour.
The victory moved Pickering into third place, eight points behind leaders Brigg but with four games in hand.
Former City striker Ian Blackstone scored for Harrogate Railway, but his strike and a goal by last season's FA Cup hero Steve Davey were not enough to save Railway from a 3-2 home defeat to Glapwell.
In division one of the NCEL, Tadcaster Albion got three points in their bid to climb free of the re-election zone, with a 1-0 win at bottom club Staveley Miners' Welfare.
Albion's second away win of the season came courtesy of Paul James' 50th minute strike.
In the UniBond League premier division, former Scarborough defender Michael McNaughton was the hero for Harrogate Town, who won 2-1 at home to Burscough.
McNaughton got the winner just two minutes from time and only five minutes after coming on as a substitute. The centre-half-cum-attacker fired the winner through a crowded penalty area following a Mark Atkins' corner.
Second from bottom Burscough had earlier taken a shock lead when Gary Martindale fired in a long range effort.
Town equalised in the 61st minute when former City striker, Glenn Naylor got his eighth goal in six matches. Town move one place to third in the table.
