I READ of a possible national rise of 12 per cent in council taxes. We have to work to a budget in our homes.
Why can't councils do the same?
I doubt if wages will go up by the same amount, and if we get a pension "award" it will go straight into the treasurer's coffers.
We all seem to be working for the council, but it has to end somewhere - it's unsustainable and I'm afraid there will be a revolt.
Pockets are not bottomless pits.
