Third place went to Jim Carter (Selby DAA), who fished a groundbait feeder with red maggots opposite the boats in the first field at Middlethorpe. His all-roach bag scaled 5lb 4oz.

York river expert Steve Hodson (RSPS Tekneek Trabucco) made it back to back wins at Ripon when he topped a gruelling 80-pegger on the streams sections on Sunday.
Pegged in Simpsons field, he offered waggler and caster towards some far-side rocks where he found five chub, plus two colossal perch weighing 3lb 6oz and 3lb 1oz, for a total of 20lb 8oz.
Adrian Lewis (Waterline Wibsey) was on the famous Leathams run-off and swapped his caster baits between waggler and bomb for 16 small chub scaling 19-14-0.
Jim Cowgill (Bradford) took third from 152 with 14lb 12oz of chub and dace on waggler and caster.

The winter series at Raker kicked off in fine style on Sunday when 30 anglers tackled Horseshoe Lake.
Jim Pearson (JT Rogers) scored an easy win with 72lb 6oz of carp to 5lb on maggot and corn at 18 metres from peg 21.
John Cosgrove (York Tackle) took second from peg 16 where he fished down the track at 11 metres with maggots for 39lb 5oz of small stock carp.

Leeds veteran Bernard Guy (East End Park) topped Sunday's 20 peg Carpvale open on Cyprio Lake with a level 37lb.
He bagged nine carp on feeder and corn from peg 8.
