SEASONED driver Ian Pimlott sampled a superb send-off to the season at York Harness Raceway.
Pimlott, a regular at the Green Hammerton circuit, drove the winners of the final three races.
His hat-trick flourish started with victory on Odds Against in the Brian Smyth Memorial Trot to be followed by piloting Magical K9 to honours in the End Of Season Low Grade Final, before piloting The Gurkha to an emphatic conquest in the Tommy Doyle and Alan and Teresa Hayhornwaite Final.
The first two horses are owned by Mick Welling and trained on the York track by Barry Neal, while The Gurkha is owned by Ulverston's Ray Trembles.
