ELVINGTON'S hopes of having a Concorde are gone ('Museum's Concorde hopes dashed', October 31).
Why did two Concordes go the USA?
After all America fought against this aircraft landing in the USA for several years. No Concordes on the east side of England: it is a disgrace.

...IT is outrageous that British Airways has decided to give three Concorde aircraft to countries outside the British Isles and has ignored the Yorkshire Air Museum.
As one of the millions of British taxpayers that funded the design and manufacture of these wonderful aircraft I ask what right do they have to do this?
It is nothing short of larceny on a grand scale.
I urge all your readers to write in protest to their MP to register their total disagreement with this move.
