THE last gig by Shed Seven will be played in their home city of York.
The band, who last week said they would split after their coming tour, will play York Barbican Centre on December 20.
The announcement will spark a scramble for tickets among the Sheds' army of loyal fans.
A split was declared last week by the the band.
They are by far the most successful band to come out of York, having success in the singles charts with Going for Gold, Chasing Rainbows and Disco Down.
For tickets, phone the Barbican box office on 01904 656688.
