MONTY PYTHON legend Terry Jones drew a huge crowd when he turned up in York to promote his new book.
A packed house at Waterstones, in Ousegate, heard Mr Jones talk about the mysterious death of England's greatest medieval writer.
His new book, Who Murdered Chaucer?, was snapped up by eager punters at the event, which was switched from its original location at Tempest Anderson Hall, in Museum Gardens.
A Waterstones spokesman said: "It was packed. Terry stayed for longer than he anticipated and everyone had a good time. He certainly seemed to enjoy it."
