A JURY today unanimously acquitted a man accused of murdering a York busker after a caravan theft went wrong.
Ethan Wharton, 23, of Ayton House, Cook Street, York, had denied savagely beating Tony Grayson, 38, on May 27, 2002, after Mr Grayson crashed two vehicles they stole from Hull.
Wharton was jailed for two years, two months and banned from driving for three years at Leeds Crown Court, after admitting stealing two caravans, snatching one car, and aggravated snatching of another car.
