For the third week in succession, the same peg on the River Ouse yielded triumph.
The lucky angler to make the biggest pay-day from the famed peg 220 on the bungalows at Hunters Lodge was Mick Tiffany (Yorkshire Post).
Sport for Sunday's 130-peg river championship fished between Hunters Lodge and Beningbrough was generally dire with many blank and biteless but the bream haven at Hunters came up trumps again.
Tiffany's five fish that fell to feeder caster and worm scaled in at just 22lb 11oz, relative skimmers by the peg's usual standards.
At the next peg, 221, Paul Bennett used the same tactics for three bream and 18lb.
Best of the day's small fish nets came as a surprise from unfancied peg 282 above the paddock at Linton, where Roger Ellis (Armley Angling) had a fine all-roach 7lb 14oz to pole and caster in the last two hours.
A few pegs upstream Trevor Hewitt (Hirst Tackle) had another all-roach net of 7lb 8oz for fourth.
Pegs on the York controlled water at Beningbrough and Redhouse were in dreadful form with many blanks and only a single bream caught from a peg at Killingbeck.
Others: Stuart Wilson (Armley Angling) 7-7-0, Tim Harrison (Anglers World York) 6-6-0.
Bernard Guy topped the latest open at Carpvale from peg 17 on Cyprio Lake. Offering soaked pellets tight to the far-side cover, he netted a dozen carp to 8lb for his winning 42lb 12oz.
Close behind was Mark Green who had the same number of fish on cat meat from peg 12 for his 38lb 8oz.
Others: Paul Fawcett 18-12-0, Andy Gallant and Roy Worsnop both 11-8-0.
Keith Adcock set a new match record for the middle Swale on his way to topping the 56-peg RSPS Tekneek Trabucco Les Winder Memorial fished between Gatenby and Skipton Bridge.
Drawn on the Middlesboro water at Holme, his match got off to a flying start as he bagged nine chub to waggler and maggot in as many casts.
Things steadied after that but he still finished with 30 fish to 4lb for a run-away total of 71lb 14oz. Jonny Bath (Kippax) used stick and caster to good effect at Gatenby netting a dozen chub plus odd grayling for 40lb 10oz.
Others: Steve Evans (Brotherton) 28-10-0, Dave Gwatkin (Derbyshire Anglers) 25-11-0, Jeff Herbert (RSPS Tekneek Trabucco) 23-10-0, Eddie Harvey (Derbyshire Anglers) 22-7-0.
Adjacent pegs produced the top two on Maple Lake at the Oaks in Sunday's 64-pegger.
Steve Simmons (Bob.Co/ Meanwood) won the peg-to-peg tussle from 64 where he alternated corn and maggot tight to the island at 13 metres. A late run of fish boosted his net to a winning 41lb 12oz.
Paul Taylor (MAP Elton) was on peg 65. where he stuck to maggot for his all-carp haul of 33lb 9oz.
Others: Mark Lucas (Ted Carter Preston) 25-12-0, Stef Armitage (Oaks) 25-0-0, Ray Singh (MAP Elton) 24-12-0, Roger Holmes (MAP Elton) 23-8-0.
