Anita Adams shot out on 112 in the opener for Slipper in their York John Smith's Ladies League division two match against Leeman 'B'.

Ther heroics of Adams were only added to by colleague Sue Tate as they lost 7-2.

Cygnet 'B's Tracy Billingham closed on 81 but it came too late as the Pat Cairns-Helen Lomas pairing had secured the match in Slip's favour. Julie Maycock, partnering Barbara Suter, sealed a 5-4 win for Clifton against visitors Sun.

Sylvia Keenan-Angie Lancaster combined to secure the match for Jubilee by winning the decider at Burton WMC, while Britannia fell 4-0 behind at Tang Hall WMC before Joan Harrison (140) started the revival and then partnered Chris Garbutt to seal victory.

In division one Cueball 'B' raced into a 3-0 lead at Cygnet 'C' with good scoring from Angie Hields before Karen Richardson set the home team on a run with Roz Kerr levelling. The pairs went evenly, then Tracey Farmeary two 100s and Jayne Janes' double top close, snatched the decider for the snooker club.

Dot Dykes finished on 80 as Cueball 'C' came away from Holgate with a 6-3 result.

Sandra Bruce 140, 125, 100 steered Independent to a 6-3 result at Flag whose players hit the tons but could not locate the double.

Clifton's Jo Hodges (140 for 23) and Ruth Norman helped them secure a 5-4 win at Dringhouses.

In division three Pat Kelly was Burnholme Club's only singles success as Carol Pearson secured the match for Mitre, who also added a pairs to their tally.

Julie Brownlee and Kim Simpson were both triple-ton scorers for Ebor, with Simpson partnering Paula Lucas to win the decider against Severus.

Debbie Witts won the opener for Leeman 'A' but the visitors Blacksmiths responded with Maureen Ferguson starting a victory stroll.

In division four Woolpack were in sparkling form as they lapped up Puss 7-2. Volunteer 'B' were gifted their points as Reindeer could not field a team.
