VISITORS to York got a real taste of Yorkshire spirit with a giant, 6ft Yorkshire pud.
The enormous pudding was part of a recruitment drive by the Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs.
The society is hoping that touring the county with the iconic pud will raise their profile and encourage new members to sign up.
Yesterday, the region's favourite food paid a visit to the York Livestock Centre and Cliffords Tower. YFC members from Ebor District were on hand with information and advice on how to get involved.
But the pudding's mammoth journey is far from over. The pudding, which started its adventure at Countryside Live! at the Yorkshire Showground on Saturday, will go on to tour the county's livestock markets and tourist attractions.
