AFTER six consecutive away games Nestl Rowntree RUFC enjoyed their first home fixture of the season with a 27-0 success over Knaresborough 'A'.
The game wasn't one sided as Trees were frequently pushed off their own scrummage ball but they excelled with ball in hand.
Flanker Steve Lott scored two tries with one for No 8 Rob Sellers for a 15-0 half time lead.
Lightweight prop Ian Leadbeater gained revenge for a difficult time in the scrums when he showed good pace over 30 metres for a try in the corner.
Centre Gavin Pender was driven over the final try which was converted by John Atkin.
