PRAISE is still pouring in from firms all over York and North and East Yorkshire who took part in this month's Evening Press Business 2 Business exhibition.
Nearly 700 people visited the event at the Knavesmire stand at York Racecourse and many of the 56 exhibitors reported brisk business on the day, which was sponsored by Chameleon Business Interiors and Specsavers.
"And we are still getting calls from exhibitors who report that sales are still coming in as a result," said events manager Wendy Neale. "A lot of them have asked to be signed up for next year, which augurs well for another exciting exhibition.
Voted Best Stand was Avelec Services, of York, which offers a one-stop shop for clients seeking to set up IT and telecommunications services. Judges were Liz Page, publisher of York & County Press and Len Cruddas, chief executive of the York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
As a result, Avelec's MD, Tony Newsom-Virr, won a Ferrari for a day, courtesy of Great Experience Days.
