A TERRIFIED York man handed over money when he was threatened by hammer-brandishing thugs in broad daylight.
The young man was robbed at about 2.15pm yesterday in Tang Hall, York, when two men threatened him with a hammer and demanded money. He gave the robbers his wallet and credit cards.
The first man was aged about 20, 6ft 2ins, of proportionate build, with dark brown, cropped hair. He wore a sky blue top. The second was also about 20, 5ft 10ins tall, of thin build, with black, short hair, wearing a white baseball cap. Both had Yorkshire accents. No further details of the incident were available.
