CHILDREN from St Oswald's Primary School have been given safety advice, thanks to a local businessman.
Children were provided with a pack from the charity Child Victims of Crime which gives information on a range of topics including bullying and alcohol.
Martin Popplewell, from Popplewell Associates, whose children used to attend St Oswald's, provided the funding for the school to receive the pack.
He said: "It is a pleasure to be able to give something back to a school which provided such good care and grounding for my own children." Paul Marks, head teacher at St Oswald's, said "We are delighted with the resources.
"The children find them fun and easy to digest and we find them a valuable tool as part of our drug education week and in the campaign against bullying."
