I READ that the Foreign Secretary Jack Straw does not like the idea of identity cards, nor does Gordon Brown.
Considering most nations have them, what is the problem?
I had one during the war years because it was compulsory.
It should be made compulsory now.
People who have nothing to hide have nothing to fear.
