I cannot believe the utter rubbish written by Mr Reynolds in his article on Wednesday, October 15.
How he can criticise Steve Beck is beyond belief when this man and his hard-working board of directors have probably saved the club from extinction.
The board will have reluctantly taken the decision to increase match day prices to avoid the shortfalls that the previous regime suffered. York City have probably one of the cheapest admission prices, even with the increase added on. For example, at Mansfield it was £15 to enter the ground last Saturday.
I for one am happy to pay the very small increase if it amounts to the difference between survival and closure. We don't need supporters like Mr Reynolds and suggest he concentrates his efforts and wallet into supporting Hartlepool.
