A MINI-MUSEUM could be established to celebrate 100 years of a York school.
Haxby Road Primary School will be celebrating its centenary next year and the new head, Nick Long, is hoping to set up a museum of archive material in one of the classrooms.
Other events for the year include four separate school reunions, the launch of a new school logo, and the renaming of the school canteen.
Nick, who took over as head teacher in September, said he had hit the ground running when he took on the post.
He said: "It is really busy and there is lots to do.
"I want it to be a really good year for the school and want the community to get involved."
Former pupils, staff and governors who have any archive material or memories they want to share are urged to phone the school on 01904 653218
