YORK Rugby Union 'A' romped to a 48-0 victory over their Bridlington counterparts.
York dominated from start to finish and the result was never really in doubt once scrum-half Russell Venter ran in the first try.
Skipper Joe Nasson then led by example, running in a second after a line-out and quick hands from the York backs. Tom Copeland added the extras.
A huge pass from Venter set up a third try, Rob Taylor crossing out wide, before the scrum-half played a decisive hand in York's fourth.
Superb handling from Venter and Craig Ventress was followed by more of the same from Taylor and Russ Allerton before the ball found its way to Tom Heppleston, who crossed at pace.
York still had time to extend their advantage before the break, a neat side-step from Allerton enabling the veteran to score. Ventress converted.
Bridlington's cause was not helped when one of their locks was sin-binned and after three more York tries from Rob Liddle, Taylor and Herman Louw and two conversions, the referee decided to blow early for full-time.
