Selby claimed a double at Dinnington this season. After a narrow 39-33 win in the Intermediate Cup last month, Selby were 33-22 victors second time around.
Playing down the slope in the first half, Selby took the lead in the first minute with a Toby Pemberton penalty after Dinnington strayed offside. Selby dominated the early stages and went further ahead when hooker Tom Bayston forced his way over in the corner to score an unconverted try.
The visitors increased their lead with another Pemberton penalty, Dean Lax replying in kind.
After survining some stern pressure winger Paul Scott surged into a gap to score, Pemberton adding the extras.
A rapid raid brought a try for Jason Cicero to stretch the lead to 23-3 and cap their best half of the season.
After half-time Dinnington took a quick tap for winger John Davidson to cross, Lax converting.
Smarting from the set-back, Selby's Mathew Smith fed Richard Nicholson to score under the posts, Pemberton striking an easy conversion.
Dinnington added a converted try by Gareth Morley but a Pemberton drop goal ensured the win despite a late try from the hosts.
