JUST two premier division games were possible due to Senior Cup action and Malton Bacon Factory took full advantage with a 3-1 home win over Nestl Rowntree to move four points clear at the top.
Nigel Allen opened their account in the 15th minute but Steve Blake equalised ten minutes later. Andrew Thornton restored The Factory's lead in the 70th minute and three minutes later the 'Trees' goalkeeper saved a penalty as the home side stepped up a gear.
However, in the last minute Thornton headed their third to secure the win.
Dave Watson opened the scoring for Osbaldwick as they entertained Rufforth and three second half strikes from Paul Crangle (2) and Neil Robertson saw them to a 4-2 win.
In division one, Riccall's Jason Roughley scored the fastest goal of the day as he hit the top corner of the Norwich Union net from the edge of the box after only 20 seconds.
It only served to spur on The Insurance Men to a 3-1 win, Matt Devereaux bagging the equaliser and Neil Brownbridge netting in each half.
Easingwold continued to set the pace in division two with a 3-0 home win over Fulford.
Rich Jennison scored in the first half and goals from Paul Ellerker and Tim Jackson after the break wrapped up the points.
Barmby Moor were held in their derby game with near neighbours Wilberfoss. Jon Parkin struck for Wilberfoss just before half-time and Andrew Palfreyman levelled on the hour mark.
Stillington moved into third place after a fine 4-2 win at Selby RSSC. Andy Jones netted twice for the home side but John Anderson and Steve Johnson recorded two apiece for Stillington.
Seventeen-year-old Craig Theaker's strike for Poppleton in the 20th minute of their home game with Huby proved to be the eventual winner and although they struck the woodwork twice they could not increase their tally.
There were goals galore at Elvington where the home side shared eight with Heslington. Luke Dove (2), Dave Lund and Nick Craven were the Harriers' hit-men.
White Horse took over top spot in division three on goal difference over Tockwith and Strensall and all remain unbeaten.
The new leaders beat LNER Builders 4-0, all the goals coming in the second half from Scott Griffiths, John Williams - his first for the club - and Lenny Mason, who bagged two.
Tockwith destroyed Amotherby & Swinton's 100 per cent record with a 4-1 win.
They were two up at the break, thanks to goals from Graham Hutchison and Ben Tobin. Hutchison netted his second from the penalty spot and Andy Wilson claimed the fourth. Richard Webster grabbed a consolation for Amotherby.
Strensall had a much closer contest at Sheriff Hutton where Mark Jackson put the home side into a 1-0 half-time lead.
The visitors netted three times in the second half through Nigel Lyle, Tony Leggett and Mick Pipe but the home side were still in the game after a strike from Hugh Hodges.
York RI made it two wins in a row with a 4-2 home success over Rawcliffe Rangers, who once again surrendered the lead.
Mike Heels and Mick Firn had given The Rangers a two-goal advantage in the first half, but Neil Hind and Mick Hutchinson levelled before half time.
The same two players struck again in the second half to seal the points.
