TOP MAN Trevor Krause and runner-up Rich Hayes have been presented with their Evening Press/Collier Plant Hire player-of-the-season prizes following their tip-top year with York City Knights.
The pair went to Huntington Stadium yesterday to collect their awards off Richard Collier, of competition sponsors Collier Plant Hire.
As reported by the Evening Press, Aussie star Krause, who was named in the National League Two 'Team of the Year', finished top of the table in the player-of-the-season race, with Hayes, a former winner of the award during the York Wasps days, taking second spot. Danny Brough, the NL2 Young Player of the Year, was pipped into third place.
Krause and Hayes were the only two Knights to play in all 31 of the club's games this season. Krause's prize includes £300 and Hayes picks up £150, both courtesy of Collier Plant Hire.
