Kevin Miller (2 handicap) and Bob Elliott (7) won Fulford's Harrower Trophy foursomes competition after a gripping final against Bob Robinson (6) and Tony Hinder (10).
Two down after two holes, Robinson and Hinder then played the next 14 holes in level par to establish a two-hole lead with two to play. Miller holed from 15 feet for a birdie three at the 17th to keep the match alive and a birdie four at the last took the match to sudden death. A solid par four at the 19th gave Miller and Elliott their third victory in this event.
