Malton Bacon Factory opened their Reserve 'A' season with goals from Lee Stead, Warren Greenlay, Tom Oxtoby and Aidie Burdett as they saw off Osbaldwick 4-0.
South Bank overcame St John's College by the odd goal in seven. The Students went two up with goals from Matt Moore and Paul Thompson. Drew Kelly missed a penalty for South Bank before Stuart Kehoe and Nick Shaw levelled before half time.
Shaw struck again to edge South Bank in front and, although Robin Bedford equalised, Shaw completed his hat-trick to win it.
Dunnington and Kartiers served up an entertaining game despite the blank scoreline, Paul Fowler missing a great chance to win it for the former when hitting the bar from just a yard out in the last minute.

Poppleton and Haxby played out a see-saw game with man of the match Carl Kidds netting a late winner for Haxby.
Poppleton had taken the lead through Richard Outhwaite but Mike Taylor equalised before half-time. Taylor then put Haxby in front with a free-kick, Jamie Agnew hitting another leveller.
Arthur Tegetmeier was on target again for New Earswick as he bagged three at Heslington. Paul Harrison, Neil Geldard and an own goal brought their tally up to six with Heslington managing two in reply from Andy Daniel and Jim Walker.
Hemingbrough outclassed Civil Service in Reserve 'C' and goals from Micky Collins (3), Craig Welford (2) and Tom Caldwell (pen) gave them a 6-1 win.
Simon Teale put Moor Lane in front at home to Thorpe United and, although Gary Smith managed another, they were edged out 3-2 by the visitors.
David Marshall put White Horse one up against Riccall but they conceded a late penalty which Paul Shah converted.
Reserve 'D' newcomers Tock-with got off to a good start with two goals from Graham Hutch-inson in a 2-0 win over Heworth.
