I WAS appalled by the ethos of Helen Mead's article ('Everyone's on the fiddle', September 24).
How can the next generation learn that stealing, lying and cheating are wrong with such a role model?
I sympathise with Helen's daughter having to stand alongside her mother and hear such blatant dishonesty in the shoe shop as she described.
