HARROGATE Town beat Spennymoor United 3-1 in the Unibond League Premier Division last night.
Simon Sturdy's 35th-minute free kick gave Town the lead on 35 minutes and former York City trialist Simon Parke increased the lead on the stroke of half-time.
Ex-Minsterman Anthony Shandran pulled one back for the visitors seven minutes after the break.
Harrogate clinched victory midway through the second half when a clearance by Nicky Mohan cannoned off Richard Dunning into the net.
