Malton and Norton golfer Simon Dyson followed his first round 70 with a fine 67 yesterday to easily make the cut at the German Masters. Dyson was seven under par going into today's play.
Englishman Ian Poulter, who is yet to drop a shot, had a one-shot lead overnight at 16 under thanks to a second-round nine-under-par 63.
Previous leader Fredrik Jacobson, who had carded a course record 12-under-par 60 in the first round, only managed a one-under and dropped to fourth.
Colin Montgomerie, Nick Faldo and Bernhard Langer missed the cut.
