I ALSO share the concerns of Coun Aspden about the development of the Fulford petrol station, but remind him that it is in his own Liberal Democrat council's hands to decide what happens on the site.
If he is to truly represent the residents of Fulford I hope his colleagues will support him in ensuring that any development of the site is sympathetic to Fulford.
My main worry is that the Liberal Democrat council will be looking to cram as many houses on to this site as is possible as they are intending to do at York Barbican. Let us hope that Keith Aspden can truly represent his ward and prevent over- development in this part of the village.
