THEY'RE at it again. Another Eddie. Another album. Will we become bored? I hope not!
Iron Maiden step up a gear from Brave New World, offering a few shorter tracks, possible single material, alongside the epics, which are showcases for voice and guitars, such as the title track.
This is a cheerful song but, then what would you expect with Maiden? Historical tracks still feature, with Montsegur (about Templar knights) and Paschendale. The Age Of Innocence courts controversy with a swipe at a few of today's high-profile court cases where it is hard to remember who is the criminal; very thought provoking, as are most of their tracks. The boys are back to show the metal newcomers how it's done.
