YORKSHIRE cricketer Nic Thornicroft returned to Easingwold School last night to hand out sporting honours.
Easingwold old boy Thornicroft attended the school from 1996 to 2001 and went back with county colleague Tim Bresnan to present the Hambleton and Richmondshire Area sports awards.
The evening recognises young sportsmen and women from the area who have gone on to represent North Yorkshire in a variety of sports.
