IN response to your report "Biker toll worst ever at 24" (September 15), I am amazed by the comments of Hugh Bayley MP and Motorcycle Action Group spokesperson Debbie Molyneux.
All road-users need proper training and should show care and attention.
But to slant his comments towards placing the onus on car drivers to receive more training is ridiculous.
We were involved in a collision with a motorcyclist two months ago near
Stillingfleet.
We were travelling at about 20mph when a biker came hurtling around the bend in the opposite direction on our side of the road. He was racing other bikers. He missed our car but hit our boat and trailer. The trailer was written off and he ended up in hospital.
Thankfully, my whole family - all of us in the car - didn't end up in hospital with him! These idiots should slow down and consider others.
