AT the council meeting on September 9, a number of written questions were tabled for the executive members.
Unfortunately, most replies were evasive - for example "awaiting a report".
The written questions are prepared a number of days in advance of the meeting and hence sufficient time should be available to obtain answers.
The failure to answer legitimate questions indicates contempt for the whole process and to the citizens of York.
Perhaps some members of the Liberal Democrat executive are incapable of handling their brief?
