NESTLE Rowntree RUFC suffered a 29-15 defeat at Yarnbury in a topsy-turvy tie.
The York side were leading 3-0 midway through the first-half after a strong defensive showing only for Yarnbury to score a try to enjoy a 5-3 half-time advantage.
In the second-half, 'Trees regained the initiative thanks to a try from centre Oscar Sellers.
However, injuries started to take their toll and with no backs but 11 forwards Yarnbury were able to run in four tries to take a firm grip on proceedings.
'Trees managed to score again late on however, when debutant Sullivan crashed over and Jackson converted.
