In On This Day, September 4 you refer to Geronimo, Apache chief and leader of the last great American Red Indian rebellion. Geronimo was a Shaman, not a chief, and at no time did his band exceed 35 in number.
Admittedly more than 2,000 US soldiers were involved in the pursuit of this small band but it can hardly be called a "great rebellion".
