DIVISION Two champions Tollerton Outlaws took maximum points at Copmanthorpe where Tony Raper missed his ton by two runs as Tollerton scored 178-3. John Hughes held Copmanthorpe together with 69 but Pete Clark, Bill Chambers and Raper all took three wickets each as Tollerton ran out 30-run victors.
It sealed Tollerton's third successive promotion since joining the league.
Second-placed Fulfordgate were made to sweat at Thorpe Willoughby, who posted 185-7 with Mal Longhorne scoring 58. Keith Pepper stepped up for 'Gate and hit 65 but a middle order collapse saw the visitors in trouble before some late hitting from Steve Bygott saw Fulfordgate home in the final over.
Ben Johnson held on to defeat Thixendale by 21 runs. Graham Lyndsay took 5-42 as the printers were all out for 122. S Carlton then replied with 4-23 to send Thixendale home as losers.
Hirst United inflicted a 72-run defeat on Wheldrake after Duncan Hedley scored 54 in Hirst's 185-7. Kenny Winter then claimed 4-29 to end Wheldrake's resistence at 113.
Heworth visited Kelfield and could only find 106-9 from 40 overs. Phil Smith then saw Kelfield home with another half-century.
Wheldrake were crowned Conference champions as Tadcaster Magnets defaulted and Selby claimed third place by defeating rivals Thorpe Willoughby. Thorpe bowled Selby out for 120 but were left to rue dropped catches as they were shot out for 90.
Copmanthorpe outplayed ten-man Stockton and Hopgrove, making 194-8 with Chris Mitton top scoring with 45. Geoff Deighton then returned 4-13 from nine overs as Stockton were all out for 99.
