THIS week's Yesterday Once More looks ahead to the Queen's Golden Jubilee - by remembering her trips to York during the 1977 Silver Jubilee.
Firstly we show the Queen's motorcade arriving at one of the most popular routes into York - Micklegate.
There our picture shows the packed crowds hoping to catch a glimpse of the royals, many waving the Union Flag.
Our second shot shows the Queen leaving the car to head off on one of her famous Royal "walkabouts".
The smiles on the faces of those in the throng say it all - this was an era of utmost respect for the monarchy.
The third picture shows a crowd of young and old people all waiting patiently to see the Queen.
The stern expressions on some of the faces suggest their wait had been a long one.
Finally, we show the Queen meeting York residents. There are no stern faces here, only big smiles.
