VALE of York MP Anne McIntosh is to present five local schools with computer equipment on Friday as part of Tesco Computers for Schools.
Linton Primary School, Easingwold School, Rawcliffe Infants School, Forest of Galtres Primary School and Canon Lee School, in York, will all receive equipment courtesy of the voucher collection scheme.
Miss McIntosh will visit the Tesco store in Clifton Moor, York, at noon to make the presentation. She said: "My congratulations go to our local schools for collecting vouchers under the Tesco Computers for Schools scheme. Congratulations also to Tesco on this being the twelfth year of the Tesco Computers for Schools." The scheme has delivered more than £84 million of computer equipment nationally since 1992.
