RON Wilkinson (Newman Scotts) set a new lake record for Wagtail at the North Yorkshire Woodlands complex in winning Wednesday's 78 peg open.
Drawn at peg 20 on the usually unfavoured lake, he offered meat tight to the boards for 124lb 3oz of carp to 8lb.
Alan Sharman (Elton Tackle) was on hot peg 21 on Partridge where he fished meat up in the water for his all-carp haul of 121lb 5oz.
Others: Dean Smith (Trabucco Elton) 106-8-0, Ellis Hart (Glenridding) 90-12-0, John Chapman (Drennan Elton) 73-13-0 and Peter Close (Shimano Quaker Match Group) 67-6-0.
Mark Coyne (MAP Elton) scored a narrow victory to win the 71-peg sell-out on Saturday.
Fished on just Partridge and Skylark lakes, he was on form peg 21 on the former where he took full advantage. Fishing with pellet at seven metres, he bagged 82lb 8oz of carp to 5lb. Team-mate John McGarell (MAP Elton) was on peg 28 on the same lake where he fished meat at 13 metres for a mixed bag of 81lb 8oz.
Others: Ian Thompson (Elton Tackle) 66-9-0, Darren Bridge (MAP Elton) 60-7-0, Keith Kotchie (Featherstone) 60-5-0 and Geoff Leyton (Cleveland Angling Centre) 57-7-0.
Addie Mitchell (Harrogate Angling Supplies) was back in the hot seat at the Willows again, winning Saturday's 39-entry to make it three wins from the last four events.
Pegged 39 on Goldrush, he targeted a small island at nine metres with pellet for 66lb 12oz of carp to 5lb.
John Illingworth (Middy Team Dons) took second with a 52lb 9oz net of carp, tench and ide taken on pole and pellet from peg 43.
Others: Dave Pollitt (Hirst Tackle) 51-0-0, Tony Hewson (Armley Angling) and Bernard Guy (East End Park) both 45-8-0 and Jim Carter (Selby) 40-6-0.
Dave Wright (Armley Angling) topped the 39-entry mid-weeker from peg 31 on Goldrush.
Fishing pole and meat to a sunken willow, he netted a level 76lb of carp to 5lb. Stan Jeffries (Armley Angling) took second from peg 43 on the same lake where he had 71lb 4oz of carp from open water on cat meat.
Others: Graham Boardley (Bob.Co) 54-0-0, Robert Ogilvy (Harrogate Angling Supplies) 53-3-0, Paul Gallagher (Willows) 47-8-0 and Alistair Wilkes (Boston Spa) 46-0-0.
