One of the all time great American musical families, The Osmonds, are celebrated on this double CD.
Crazy Horses, probably their best track, opens the band album, followed by hits such as Goin' Home, Let Me In and Love Me For A Reason. Pop, rock and soul show the all-round singing talents of a squeaky clean band who became Seventies' superstars having spent over a decade building up to that success. The second CD features the solo careers: Puppy Love, Young Love and The Twelfth Of Never and other love songs are performed by the ever-youthful Donny, Paper Roses by Marie and Long Haired Lover From Liverpool by Jimmy. The Osmonds fared better as a group rather than in solo careers, but with this album and a TV profile is Osmondmania about to return 30 years down the line?
