A TRIO of York pensioners will be getting all nostalgic tomorrow with a special wartime concert.
Brenda McFall, Cyril Hill and Roy Forder regularly perform for 70 care homes in the York area with eight different shows. Tomorrow they will taking their show of 1940s favourites to popular war museum Eden Camp, near Malton.
Wearing wartime uniforms, they will perform three half-hour shows in the museum's theatre from 1pm to raise money for St Leonard's Hospice in York.
Two members of staff from the hospice's shop in Fourth Avenue, York, will be joining them to collect money from visitors who enjoy the show.
Mrs McFall said: "We were all children in the war, so it's our era. We can identify with the tunes and Eden Camp as well."
She said the trio was well-known in the York area and had been performing together for 11 years.
"We love the pleasure it gives to people. It's amazing how people who can barely talk enjoy joining in a sing-a-long."
