RAIL experts will be on hand in Harrogate next week to answer customer questions on Arriva Trains Northern (ATN) services.
The York-based operator will be holding a customer forum, at Harrogate station, between 7am and 9am on Wednesday.
Peter Myers, ATN's head of stations, said: "There is a lot planned for the Harrogate line. Therefore we are keen to get out there, meet our customers, listen to their views, answer their questions, and share with them what is happening. We are particularly keen to ensure that people are aware of the robust arrangements we have put in place for services while Network Rail carries out its £10 million investment in improving the line during August.
"The forums will also provide the ideal opportunity for us to inform our customers about our plans to improve peak-time weekday services by investing £1.5 million in a larger inter-city style locomotive train for the winter timetable."
