YORK City Ladies FC have been drawn away to Blyth Spartans LFC in the first round of the FA Women's Cup.
The match will take place on September 7 with this season's competition attracting a record number of 205 entries.
City will prepare for their FA Cup tie with a number of friendlies throughout August, starting with a trip to Darlington RA this Sunday and
continuing at Penrith, Tadcaster and Ossett.
Their final friendly of pre-season is against Bradford City, the week before the cup-tie.
Potential new players, aged 15 and over and of all abilities, are welcome to attend to the club's training sessions, which are held every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Oaklands Sports Centre in Acomb.
Matches will be played each Sunday with home games taking place on Little Knavesmire, near York Racecourse.
City also require sponsors for the coming season.
